Although Hauli Huvila can be enjoyed throughout the entire summer, the times that really define the magic and uniqueness are the event and holiday weekends. Often on these four long weekends each summer anywhere from 100 to 400 Finns, family and friends of Finns gather to celebrate, relax, socialize, and have fun at Hauli Huvila.

Please note that our event and holiday weekends are very popular. Our campground tent spaces are first come first serve basis, they do fill up. Then for our camper and RV parking spaces, Hauli Huvila members get first priority, then it is first come first serve. Our cabins are available for members only and won via lottery. Everything usually fills up so plan on getting here early to secure your spot and get ready to relax and have fun!

Talkoot is the Finnish expression of a gathering of friends and neighbors to accomplish a task. That task is the volunteer work of keeping Hauli Huvila looking beautiful! We gather together to do maintenance work, repairs, improvements, and preparations to open and close Hauli Huvila at the beginning and end of the summer season.
